Desert Spa

The spa is designed to celebrates unique site of Californian desert near Joshua Tree, history, palm oasis and healing hot spring waters. Buildings and treatment rooms are scattered about allowing the site and nature to flow though and become an integral part of the spa experience. Spectacular views to San Jacinto are framed by treatment structures. Treatments derive from Two Bunch Palm’s rich spa history and integration of the property’s attributes. These include mud baths, sand therapies, shaman rituals, natural oils harvested on site all organized around the famous healing natural hot springs waters.
In keeping with the spirit of place, we look first to what defines the unique architectural and existing character of two bunch palms. At one of the most significant buildings on the property, the celestial yoga dome, we find the inspiring round shape-evoking spirituality and an immediate commitment to well-being. Sheltered by earth, the protected interior space is provided by a simple circular concrete retaining wall. We take inspiration from the stone walls that hold back the site’s soil. We take inspiration from the babbling streams that flow along and guide us on our journey. This becomes the simple starting point for the arrival building.

Spa hotel rooms coupled with locker and fitness rooms lets visitors meander through luscious greenery. Here you enter an oasis.
